In September 2018 we completed the stripout of the ground and first floor restaurant at 92-96 Lisburn Road and then carried out a full new fitout which has become the new QUB Students Union Speakeasy Bar which has been relocated to enable to demolition of the existing students union. The project lasted for 12 weeks during the summer months and was finished in time for the 2018/2019 Academic Year.
The project involved:
Ventilation: New Supply and Extract Ductwork systems, Kitchen Extract with Fire Suppression System, Fire Smoke Damper System, Reposition and Recommission of Existing AHU, Removal of redundant AHU, New AHU and Extract Fans
Air Conditioning: New Cooling System to Server Room, New Beer Chiller to Basement, Reposition and Recommission existing AHU Cooling, New AHU Cooling Coils and In Duct Cooling
LTHW Heating: New Boiler House with 4 Boilers in cascade, Radiators to Serve Back of House and Heating Coils Installed in AHUs to Serve Front of House
Plumbing: New plumbing pipework serving bar and new toilet areas
Soils & Wastes/ Public Health: New Bar appliances, New Catering Kitchen Appliances and New Toilet Blocks
Gas: New Gas Installation serving boiler house and catering kitchen appliances
BMS: New BMS Panel and devices from control of building for remote monitoring
In 2017 we completed both the refurbishment of the upper floors of 92-96 Lisburn Road as well as the refurbishment of 90 Lisburn Road for the same client.
